Low‑Temperature Pressure Vessel Steel Plate

Low‑Temperature Pressure Vessel Steel Plate
Low‑temperature pressure vessel steel plate is a specialized carbon/low‑alloy steel designed for safe operation at subzero to cryogenic temperatures (−40 °C down to −196 °C) under internal pressure. Produced via strict steelmaking, fine‑grain control, and normalized/quenched‑and‑tempered heat treatment, it features excellent low‑temperature toughness, high strength, reliable weldability, and strong resistance to brittle fracture.
It is widely used for LNG/LPG storage tanks, cryogenic separators, ethylene vessels, liquid oxygen/nitrogen containers, and pressure components in petrochemical, energy, and industrial gas sectors.
