High‑Manganese Wear‑Resistant Steel Plate (Hadfield Steel)

High‑Manganese Wear‑Resistant Steel Plate (Hadfield Steel)
High‑manganese wear‑resistant steel plate (Mn13 / X120Mn12) is an austenitic Hadfield steel containing 12–14% Mn and 1.0–1.3% C. It features excellent work‑hardening, extreme impact toughness, high ductility, and good abrasion resistance.
In delivery condition it is soft & tough (200–250 HBW); under repeated impact or heavy abrasion the surface rapidly work‑hardens to 450–600 HBW, while the core remains ductile and crack‑resistant. It is non‑magnetic and maintains high toughness even at low temperatures.
Widely used for crusher liners, jaw plates, mill liners, chutes, hoppers, rail components, and earth‑moving machinery in mining, cement, quarrying, power, and steel plants.
